Don’t Let Your “CrapApples” Go to Waste

Calder Valley (West Yorkshire)
Got a garden full of unloved fruit? If your tree is dropping apples that would be mocked by supermarkets, we want them. Don’t let them rot—let’s turn them into award-winning cider.
The Trade: Free Cider
We swap your harvest for a share of the batch. The cider comes when it’s ready. This is a slow, natural process—once the batch is pressed, fermented, and bottled, we’ll be in touch.
You Deliver (Hebden Bridge): 10kg of ripe fruit (approx. one full bag) = One 500ml bottle.
We Pick: Minimum 60kg harvest = 500ml per 20kg.
The Rules
Ripe: Pips must be brown or black. If they’re white, leave them on the tree.
Sound: Unbroken skin only. Bruises are fine; No rot.
Raw: Do not wash. We want that natural wild yeast.
The Harvest: Late September to late November. West Yorkshire only.
